How could you and your team be even more effective?

In today’s challenging business climate individual and team performance is critical to your success and training in these areas can be one of the most cost effective investments you can make.
- Driving team performance
- Influencing people and decisions
- Portraying the right business image
- Communicating with staff, clients, investors and the media
- Handling enquiries and complaints
All too often communication and presentation skills are honed through trial and error rather than instruction leading to poor first impressions and longer than necessary sales cycles.
Many regard having to undertake speaking and presenting with the same relish as a nightmare visit to the dentist…
Far too many people support their verbal presentations with dull and boring Power Point visuals that undermine rather than reinforce your key messages beacuse nobody ever taught them that there is a better way.
Think how these approaches hinder your ability to stand out from the crowd in a competitive market place…
And what about influencing? Is it some sort of black art or are there powerful proven principles that can be learned ?
Are you making the most of its considerable power and are you sure you appreciate the difference between persuasive influencing which builds long term profitable business relationships and highly coercive or manipulative behaviour that may bring short term gains but which always result in long term damages?
Influencing is not actually some magic alchemy although you can be forgiven for thinking that it might be as you watch the rise and rise of those colleagues who innately possess such skills.
So when did you last get your own way? And did you achieve that in a positive and engaging way to present your information in a convincing and empathetic way.
No?
I look forward to hearing from you then…
